Dec. 5, 2023: Looking forward to my turn at the local authors' table at the Jingle Bell Bazaar at the Richmond Country Club, 12950 Patterson Ave. Besides local writers, the festive event includes vendors selling an array of holiday goodies. Proceeds go to Goochland Cares, a local nonprofit that provides health care and other services to the needy. So get your jingle on and come on out. The event runs from 10 a.m to 8 p.m, with free admission and parking. I'll be at the table sharing my book, A Different Kind of Courage, from 4 to 5:20 p.m.
